Second Graders

Second Graders at River Ridge Elementary recently completed a Science Unit on various dinosaurs.  There were lessons and discussion on their habitats and their physical features.   Students selected a dinosaur from the unit and spent two to three weeks researching the dinosaur of their choice, they looked for information about their possible way of life, the food they ate, height, and width.  After formulating their research, they wrote a report on their findings.   Students also constructed dioramas to illustrate their dinosaur’s possible living conditions.   The second graders were very engaged in this project.  Their dinosaur findings will be on display at the Young Author’s Book Fair at River Ridge Elementary later this spring.  GREAT JOB Second Graders!!!
