Multi-categorical Email Phone: 608-994-2715 Tammy Tippery-Stovey, a graduate of Winona State University, who brings over 40 years of experience to River Ridge School District. She is currently the Special Education/Cross Categorical Instructor for Grades 8-9. With an extensive career that includes 8 years at MFL MarMac, 21 years at Prairie du Chien, and 11 years at River Ridge, Tammy is deeply committed to her students' growth and development. Tammy's favorite part of her job is working with the students. When she is not at school, Tammy finds joy in gardening and spending time with her family. Her favorite foods include baked potatoes and chocolate (not together, of course!), and she can never resist chocolate-covered peanuts as a treat. Tammy enjoys watching football and playing volleyball. Tammy's favorite colors are a neutral palate. When it comes to Tammy’s favorite book to dive into she can’t choose just one. She has enjoyed the “Harry Potter” series, “Chronicles of Narnia”, and/or “The Hobbit.” but her current favorite movie is “Wonka.” An interesting fact about Tammy is that she initially wanted to be an architect but was advised by a guidance counselor in the 1970s that females should pursue careers as teachers or nurses. Despite this advice, Tammy encourages everyone to follow their dreams.
Tammy-Tippery Stovey is a valued member of our team, enriching both our academic environment and community.
