The River Ridge School District has a four-year-old kindergarten program. This program is designed for children living in the River Ridge School District ages four and five by September 1, 2010. The district will hold the four-year-old screening on Thursday, March 18, and Friday, March 19, at the River Ridge Elementary School for families with children ages four or five. Parents of children who will be four years of age by September 1, 2010, are encouraged to contact the school (Sue Gotto at 994-2715) to arrange a time for screening if you haven’t received a notice by Monday, March 8, 2010. In addition, any parent of a three-year old (or soon to be three) who suspects their child may be displaying a developmental delay (such as motor, concepts, language, self-help, or social) is also encouraged to contact the school and discuss the possibility of having your child screened.
