6th Grade English/English Email Phone: 608-994-2715 ext. 308 Kerri Price is a dedicated educator to the River Ridge School District with an ignited passion and creativity in the classroom. Born on December 12th, Kerri attended Bloomington High School before pursuing higher education at UW-Platteville and Viterbo. Her journey in education spans various districts and roles, including teaching English Language Arts at Prairie du Chien High School and serving as a Special Education teacher. She has worked at Prairie Catholic Schools, St. Charles School, and North Scott High School in Eldridge Iowa. Kerri's current role at our school involves teaching 6th and 8th grade ELA along with 6th grade Reading.
What Kerri loves most about teaching is the opportunity to unleash her creative spirit, making learning engaging and dynamic for her students. When she's not in the classroom, you'll find Kerri immersed in a multitude of activities, from reading and podcast listening to spending time with her dog, Farley, and cooking up a storm. She's also an avid fisher and piano instructor.
When it comes to her favorites, Kerri enjoys a hearty steak, indulges in Munch candy bars, and finds joy in watching sports like volleyball, basketball, and football. As for her literary and cinematic tastes, she's captivated by "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides and the timeless classic "Shawshank Redemption."
Beyond her professional and personal pursuits, Kerri brings a unique aspect to the table – she's one of twelve siblings! We're thrilled to have Kerri as a valued member of the River Ridge school community, enriching the lives of our students every day.
